Chicory Design + Build was created around a simple idea: the best spaces aren't simply beautiful — they're thoughtfully made for the way you live.

A home is more than walls, finishes, and fixtures. It's where everyday life happens — and we believe the best spaces are created by considering not only how they look, but how they feel, function, and serve the people who call them home. That's the heart behind Chicory.

With more than 10 years of experience, I've had the opportunity to learn this industry from the inside out. But much of the foundation behind Chicory began long before the company had a name. I grew up with construction as part of my world, and today I'm fortunate to continue working alongside my father and his business, bringing more than 30 years of construction experience to the projects we take on together. That combination of generations of hands-on knowledge and a fresh approach to residential design is a big part of what Chicory represents. Chicory is a company where intentional design and quality craftsmanship belong in the same conversation.

There's something fitting about the chicory flower. It's beautiful without being fussy. It's resilient. It grows naturally and brings an unmistakable little bit of blue wherever it appears. Those qualities felt right for a company centered around homes. Our approach isn't about following every trend or making one home look like another. It's about finding the potential that's already there and making thoughtful choices that feel natural to the home and the people living in it. That philosophy became our tagline:

Every project begins with intention. Whether we're refreshing a room with paint, helping select finishes, improving a home's exterior, or taking on a renovation, we consider the entire space — how it looks, how it functions, and how you'll actually live in it. Beautiful matters. But beautiful should also make sense. We want the work we do to matter long after the project is finished. That means thoughtful material choices, quality craftsmanship, functional improvements, and design decisions that aren't made simply because they're trending today. Sometimes lasting value means increasing the value of the property. Sometimes it means finally creating a kitchen that works for your family, a room you genuinely enjoy walking into, or an outdoor space that makes you proud to pull into the driveway. Usually, it's a little of both.

Chicory currently offers residential services including renovations, remodeling, interior and exterior painting, landscaping and outdoor improvements, interior decorating and home staging, and design and project consultation. Through our partnership with my father's established business, we're able to pair Chicory's design-focused approach with decades of construction knowledge and experience. And we're only getting started. My vision for Chicory is to continue growing from home improvements and renovations into a full-service residential design + build company and, eventually, custom home building. The scale of the projects may grow, but the philosophy won't change:
